The RI Autism Project, Inc. (our original name) started with a group of special educators, therapists, and parents of children with ASDs, who came together over a shared concern about the lack of resources and programming available to children with ASDs in Rhode Island.
Our offices are located on Atwood Avenue in Johnston, located close to I-95 and I-295 and approximately 20 minutes from Providence, off of Route 6. We do our best to staff at least one Family Support Specialist at all times during business hours: 9 a.m to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The campers that attend autism-friendly camps may be autistic only or a mixture of neurotypical and neurodivergent kids. When it comes to support for your child, some camps offer 1:1 support while others have a higher camper-to-counselor ratio.
