26 Οκτ 2023 · Interested that Barclays App "loading checking preferences" doesn't ask my preference but forces you to go paperless by pressing CONTINUE to get to your account information. I know I want to stay with paper but I have to go paperless to use the app and then reset to go back to paper.
7 Μαΐ 2022 · Easy way to check is if you put your card into the pinsentry device and press identify, if it says pin locked contact bank, you then have to go to any cash machine to unlock it. If it lets you enter your pin, then the issue you are having with your online banking is nothing to do with your card and pin and will be a waste of time going to a cash machine to try and sort it out

17 Ιουλ 2017 · Hopefully the bank holding your mother's account will be helpful over opening an executor's account (not all are, through ignorance of procedures, and it varies between branches and banks!) As already said, you may not need an executors account anyway - check whether institutions will require Probate before releasing funds.

13 Μαρ 2017 · Barclays payees disappearing after about 13 months is a design feature (as far as I know unique to Barclays). I find it annoying and have in the past (for transfers to my own accounts) set up £1 standing orders annually to keep the payee alive on their system. You can use the same payee list for one-off payments and sto's.

The barclays scheme pension scheme is called Barclays Bank UK Retirement Fund (the UKRF) The 1964 Pension Scheme and they have provided a transfer quotation.

We've just opened a new Skipton one, and when I was transferring money from HBOS to Skipton, the sort code came up as Barclays Bank plc in the app. Does Skipton share a sort code with Barclays, or does Barclays own them? All the searching I've done say they don't own them.
