JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- When it comes to memories of a military career, there is perhaps nothing as iconic as a Basic Military Training flight photo. The BMT Flight Photo website is rich with these photos – nearly 17,000 of them.
Air Force basic training recovered from the Korean situation with a few scars but a pattern of growth had started that would serve the US Air Force well. It proved vital in our ability to get through the next world event that affected the United States, in the small country of Vietnam.

More than 600 Airmen assigned to the 433rd Training Squadron graduated from Basic Military Training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, June 8-9 2022, and it marked the return of two-day graduation events to the JBSA-Lackland Parade Field since March 2020.
