Great views, condor spotting, and super fun exploring Bear Gulch caves. The High Peaks portion is definitely a highlight. Lots of poison oak on the lower portions of the trail.

29 Δεκ 2020 · The hike from that parking area to bear gulch parking was exposed and incredibly hot for the first 30 min. The rest was pleasant and dappled in sun. Filled up water at bear gulch day use area and went to the caves from there.
Bear Gulch Trail in Pinnacles National Park offers scenic views, rocky terrain, and cave exploration. Best visited in spring or fall; pet and kid-friendly.
16 Μαρ 2022 · The trail takes you through an immersive cave experience and you get into survival mode. After you exit the cave, you hike up to a scenic view of the Bear Gulch Reservoir, the second-best attraction in the park after the Bear Gulch Cave.

Pinnacles Hiking: Bear Gulch Cave & Reservoir. The trail to Bear Gulch Caves is an easy one at just 0.7 miles from parking lot number two. Shortly into the hike, you’ll quickly see the namesake pinnacle rock formations alongside the trail.
