In computer science and operations research, the artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) is an optimization algorithm based on the intelligent foraging behaviour of honey bee swarm, proposed by Derviş Karaboğa (Erciyes University) in 2005.
11 Μαρ 2023 · The artificial bee colony algorithm mimics the foraging behavior of natural honey bees. In the artificial bee colony algorithm, the bee colony family consists of three members. These’re employed bees, onlooker bees, and scout bees: Scout bees begin randomly searching for food sources.
21 Οκτ 2011 · The Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm is a swarm based meta-heuristic algorithm that was introduced by Karaboga in 2005 (Karaboga, 2005) for optimizing numerical problems. It was inspired by the intelligent foraging behavior of honey bees.
The artificial bee colony algorithm (Gao & Liu, 2012; Karaboga, 2005) is a bio-inspired optimization algorithm which searches for an optimal numerical solution among a large number of alternatives. This approach is based on the collective foraging behaviour of the honey bees.
1 Ιαν 2013 · Artificial bee colony ABC algorithm is a simulation of honey bee foraging behaviour, established by Karaboga in 2005. Since its inception, a lot of research has been carried out to make...
20 Αυγ 2024 · Two major forms of population-based algorithms are evolution and swarm intelligence algorithms. The Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm is a swarm-based meta-heuristic technique used for numerical problem optimization. It was inspired by honey bees’ clever foraging behaviour.
11 Μαρ 2012 · During a decade, several algorithms have been developed depending on different intelligent behaviours of honey bee swarms. Among those, artificial bee colony (ABC) is the one which has been most widely studied on and applied to solve the real world problems, so far.
