The King Air F90 is a combination of the Model 200 fuselage and T-tail and Model E90 wings. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A-135 turboprop engines with 750 shp. The aircraft was built with standard landing gear and optional high-flotation gear.

The King Air B90 has a 9,650 lb TOGW, improved ailerons and increased wing span, improved instrumentation and pressurization and an extra side window. It was designed with a re-contoured rear fuselage, balanced controls, and a 350-pound gross weight increase.

The Beech 90 / 100 King Air is a development of the Beech Queen Air. The Model 100 King Air is a stretched variant (+1.27m / 4ft 2in). Production of the 100 King Air ceased in 1984. Current production model is the Beechcraft King Air C90GTx.
