30 Δεκ 2021 · The newer PC's start so fast, it is difficult to catch the startup to see the BIOS. If you still cannot get into the BIOS following the tips from @Prométhée, here is what I recommend. Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button. Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows.
2 Σεπ 2014 · I want to look at the boot option settings on my HP 15 Notebook PC. When I boot, I hit the F1 key and basic information about my PC pops up, but I cannot get into the BIOS setup. Can someone help? Jim A
11 Σεπ 2017 · F10 is the HOT KEY , hammer it only when the monitor power changes to green it says, (means sync lines are now active) I just hanner it, it can be a 3 second window of time when the BIOS listens to that key, (all PC/s unless altered) the best PC are HP. and desktops RULE. and HP has the best docs in the business, bar NONE.

12 Σεπ 2024 · Restart the PC and immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options. Select the F10 Setup option and press the Enter key and you will be in the BIOS setup menu. I recommend that you select the option to set the BIOS settings to their defaults, save and exit if you don't remember what settings you changed.

However on most Windows 8 machines Secure Boot will have to be disabled & Legacy boot enabled in BIOS to allow booting from a CD/DVD. That will be F10 from the menu after Esc. 31 Οκτ 2020 · I understand that there is a problem booting from other sources so it's trying to boot from the network, but I can't even enter the BIOS to change that. Things I tried: - entering BIOS with all kinds of key on keyboard (keyboard works as I sometimes get strange sound when pressing some F buttons multiple times). - disconnecting HDD and DVD drive

Would you share how you found it so I can check back for newer versions? Edit: I just Google'd for "HP Commercial BIOS (UEFI)" and see there are lots of results. Good to know what to search for.
