28 Μαρ 2004 · Gas Engines - BME-44 information - I'm replacing an OS 1.60 w 18x6W APC prop combination n a 13-14 lbs plane (not enough power) I'd like to hear back form people who have run the BME-44, what props they used and the weight of the planes the engine was used on.
BME 44cc setup. I recently bought a 27% Extra 300S which has a BME 44cc Gas engine in it. It has all the components that should make it fly but they look old....the engine looks brand new like it has never been run.
5 Οκτ 2005 · Echo (BME) 44 Gas Engine with C&H Ignition - New. Echo 44cc converted gas engine (same as BME 44). Test run only with CH ignition. Single bolt prop hub. This will swing a 20-10 prop and pull with about 21-22 pounds of thrust. Good for 3D with up to 15 pound aircraft.
1 Ιουν 2007 · Gas Engines - Troubleshooting BME 44 Problem - My BME 44 has been a great running engine. On my third flight today, I was advancing the throttle in an upline and the engine sounded like it just wouldn't go past half throttle.
15 Οκτ 2002 · Gas Engines - Bme 44 - I have a new BME 44 with five tanks of gas through it using the Lawnboy Ashless oil. It sill runs rough at idle, and I am getting 7000 RPM with a Top Flite 20X8 prop (22 LBS thrust).
6 Ιαν 2006 · This engine starts easily by hand and will turn a 20x10 prop with about 22 pounds of thrust. Excellent 3D with up to a 15 pound model. Mix Lawnboy Ashless 2 cycle oil with regular gas at 32:1 or synthetic oil at 50:1 after break-in (takes about 10 gallons). Includes: Echo 44 cc gas engine conversion with spark plug
