Green Velvet is a compact, rounded glossy dark green boxwood. Maintains its shape with little pruning. Prefers moist, well-drained soils. Will grow in sites from full sun to full shade. Tips may turn a light bronze in winter due to cold winter winds. Best used for low hedges or as an accent plant.
