The third season of The Boys originally aired from June 3 – July 8, 2022 on Prime Video. The season consists of eight episodes. Season three was greenlit by Amazon ahead of the series' second series release. A week after season three premiered, season four was announced.
The Boys premiered its first season of eight episodes on July 26, 2019. A second season premiered on September 4, 2020, with the third season following on June 3, 2022. In June 2022, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on June 13, 2024.
Shortly after the third season premiere, the fourth season was announced on June 10, 2022, and was later revealed to be premiering on June 13, 2024. Ahead of the fourth season premiere, a fifth and final season was officially announced on May 14, 2024.
