  1. 1 Νοε 2019 · No, the BPM Counter gives you only one decimal point, you would have to use another tool such as beat mapping, smart tempo or Edit > Tempo > Adjust Tempo... Smart tempo looks the way forward, but I'm not getting the option to disable imported tempo when I import my audio file.

  3. 20 Απρ 2010 · I put the BPM Counter in the Out 1-2 channel, below the word "inserts." same place you would put a compressor or limiter. Isn't that called a channel insert? "Alternatively, try Beat Detection: Options > Tempo > Adjust Tempo using Beat Detection. This will give you a list of possible tempos. " I don't see that as an option.

  4. 17 Σεπ 2021 · Hi When trying to activate the BPM counter in Logic, nothing happens, its the same with MIDI or audio regions, even when selecting analyse transients for an audio region, the BPM window begins to flash, but no tempo appears. Is the somthing I'm not doing correctly?

  5. 30 Αυγ 2019 · On your screenshot, the BPM Counter detects 93.3, while the project tempo is 70.02. That means you can't possibly have your number of bars and time signatures correct at all time at the playhead position. In any case, the BPM counter doesn't care what time signature or time signature changes you have in your project.

  6. 7 Μαρ 2022 · For example if you have an audio file with just a sine wave, the BPM counter will not tell you the BPM. Also, for files with transients, you need to open Logic, important the audio file, loop it, hit play, wait for the BPM Counter to (hopefully) get it right. With more complex drum patterns it's not always right.

  7. 14 Μαΐ 2021 · I also tried re-validating the BPM Counter plug in and everything shows up as working but doesn't work properly. I am also having an issue where a plug in I use in Ableton Live 11.0.2 isn't passing validation in Logic Pro X 10.5.1 which has never happened before. Not sure if that's useful information here in general or a separate issue. Thanks!

  8. 23 Ιαν 2022 · Hi - I've done it in 2 ways: using the BPM Counter on the drum track (usually hi-hat or kick) and also using quantise on a region. Both are off from what the drums were recorded at but both agree with each other. The furthest out is a fast rock track recorded at 130bpm yet comes in at 75bpm in LPX.

  10. 19 Ιαν 2010 · We do music sometimes at 160 BPM (Soca). A client sent me a song and I am trying to find out the tempo. The BPM Counter shows 81. What should actually be the speed of the song? Do I have to double it?
