Bristol Motor Speedway (formerly known as the Bristol International Raceway from 1978 to 1996 and as the Bristol International Speedway from 1961 to 1978) is a 0.533 miles (0.858 km) oval short track in Bristol, Tennessee.
Kyle Larson claimed his second Bass Pro Shops Night Race victory in dominating fashion Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway. Larson led an amazing 462 laps to take his fifth win of the season and advance to the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
Billed as the "World's Fastest Half-Mile", Bristol is a fan-favourite if for no other reason than it is different. The concrete track, twin pit lanes and furious nature of the racing makes it one of the biggest spectacles on the NASCAR circuit.

Built between two mountains, the dragstrip emits a noise like no other when the 7,000 horsepower dragsters jet down the quarter-mile strip at speeds upwards of 335 mph. Each June, Bristol Dragway hosts one of NHRA’s most popular races, the Thunder Valley Nationals on Father’s Day weekend.
