The Calendar of the Church Year, as found in the authorized editions of the Book of Common Prayer and Lesser Feasts and Fasts, is the official calendar of The Episcopal Church. There is no single calendar for the various churches which are part of the Anglican Communion; each makes its own calendar suitable for its local situation.

The calendar (BCP, pp. 15-33) orders the liturgical year of the Episcopal Church by identifying two cycles of feasts and holy days-one dependent upon the movable date of Easter Day and the other dependent upon the fixed date of Christmas, Dec. 25.
1 Ιαν 2024 · January 1. The Holy Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Eighth Day of Christmas. January 2. The Ninth Day of Christmas. January 3. The Tenth Day of Christmas. January 4. The Eleventh Day of Christmas.
The principal feasts of the church year are Easter Day, Ascension Day, the Day of Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, All Saints' Day (Nov. 1), Christmas Day, and the Epiphany (Jan. 6). Ascension Day is celebrated on the Thursday forty days after Easter.
