Canyons Resort was one of three alpine ski resorts located in Park City, Utah. Prior to 2015, there were 19 chairlifts, 4,000 acres (6.3 sq mi; 16 km 2) of skiable terrain and an average of 355 inches (9,000 mm) of snow each winter, making Canyons the largest ski and snowboard resort in Utah.

The Canyons, in the United States (Utah State), is a large resort with 18 lifts (2 gondolas, 14 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 972 metres (3,190 feet) of vertical descent. The Canyons has 3700 acres of terrain over 167 trails.
Canyons has easily accessed sidecountry (out-of-bounds) skiing, but there’s enough in-bounds terrain such that you don’t need to ski the same run twice. Highlights of the terrain include the great fall-line cruisers of varying pitch, and the impressive tree skiing in the well gladed areas.
Canyons' staggering 4,000 acres were joined to Park City Mountain Resort via the Quicksilver Gondola, and together the two areas offer more than 7,300 acres of world-class ski and snowboard terrain with 348 trails, 41 lifts, 13 bowls, and eight terrain parks.
