I'm trying to design an open wheel car, with high HP, low weight, and with aero surfaces. My car currently has RWD, mid engine with 300 HP, and weight around 1 t. I have double wishbone suspension and the suspension is softer in the rear. I have put a rear wing on to try and promote understeer. Tyres are wider and I've upped their pressure too.
Other than that you have Car Mechanic Simulator 2015/2018/2023 for more in depth 'building' although there is minimal customisation or driving options again. Depends on what kind of customization OP means. Mechanical tuning yes, but visual customization is kinda lacking in Horizon, there's maybe one bodykit per car and not even for all cars, a minimally changed front fender and a spoiler...the only thing you can customize visually are rims and decals/colors, doesn't scratch the NFS MW/Carbon/Underground itch.
