This is a list of churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans. The archdiocese encompasses eight civil parishes in Louisiana: St. Bernard, Jefferson (except Grand Isle) [note 1], Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, and Washington.
St. Louis Cathedral is open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Self-guided brochures are available in the entrance for a $1.00 donation. On occasion, the Cathedral closes to visitor tours due to special events such as weddings.

St. Dominic Church opened in 1909 as New Orleans's second parish established exclusively for African American Catholics. The church was destroyed by the Hurricane of 1915, and in 1923, a new church was built and renamed St. Joan of Arc as a memorial to soldiers and sailors.
