"Bar of chocolate" and "chocolate bar" are the same for me, but I'd be more likely to say chocolate bar (just as with "brick house" and "house of brick"). 13 Ιαν 2020 · When you say a box of chocolate without the s it's generally all the same chocolate, whatever form it's in. In fact, in the U.S., candy generally comes in bags and not boxes. So we would talk about a bag of candy if it was a reference to a large amount. (Some types of candy do come in individual small boxes.) Good and plenty in a box

"Dark chocolate is a food from Heaven": here the countable form identifies dark chocolate as a particular and special type of food, but allows for the possibility that there is another food from Heaven, perhaps manna. I thought this had been explained previously.
