The Harris County Precinct 2 Warrants Division is responsible for serving warrants and arresting fugitives in Precinct 2. Most warrants are the result of traffic violations, child support capias, and hot checks, and the Deputies systematically locate and arrest defendants using a variety of tactics.

All Class C Warrants issued by the Justice of the Peace Courts are executed by the Constable's Office; it also handles civil orders, such as child support from the Attorney General's Office. The Warrant Division also executes national and international warrants from other jurisdictions.
The Precinct 8 Warrant Division is responsible for clearing all warrants generated through the two Justice of the Peace Courts within our precinct. Most of these warrants are filed as a result of a bad check or an unpaid traffic citation.
