Go to settings>Compiler>ToolChainExecutables and click the auto-detect button, and it should now detect the compiler you have just installed. For future readers, When you download codeblocks, the first two options do not download the compiler with it. The third 4th do.

21 Φεβ 2013 · Re: cout not working in codeblocks. Right-click on your project, click 'Properties...' click on the 'Build target' tab check that the checkbox 'pause when execution ends' is checked for each build target (Debug/Release). What does happen if you launch your executable from cmd line ?
How do I clean code::blocks completely out so I can do a fresh complete install? Something isn't letting things compile correctly. It is confusing libraries between compilers. I am also trying to get the wxWidgets 2.9.1 to work with this program with all the correct found libraries.

22 Οκτ 2020 · I've finally installed the version 16.01 of Code:Blocks and everything works fine (finally!!). So, the problem was indeed that the compiler - by default - provided in the bundle for Code:Blocks is a 64 bits version, while I was willing to link my codes with a 32 bits library. This is fine, I should have notice this myself.
