Olympia Jean Snowe (b. February 21, 1947) was a Republican member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Maine. Snowe served in the Senate from 1994-2013. Based on an analysis of bill sponsorship by GovTrack, Snowe was a "centrist Republican leader." Snowe did not seek re-election in 2012.
