Answer. As an alternative, go to Control panel then change the View by [in the top right-hand area] from the Categories view to either Large icons or Small icons. By doing this, the Mail entry will always appear when you open Control panel in future. You can, if you wish, right-click on the Mail entry & select Create a shortcut.
