The mg/kg is the weight of drug for the weight of the animal. Doses can be different mg/kg values for different types of animals. 4µM means 4 micromoles per litre, and is a concentration. You need to find out the weight of 1 micro mol of your substance and then work out the concentration in mg/L from that.
