12 Δεκ 2022 · If my understanding is correct, we're afraid that there's no out of box way to convert .HEIC files to .jpg automatically currently. We'd recommend you convert the file format manually before upload and change the default format on iPhone to be JPEG (Settings App > Camera > Format > Most Compatible Setting) as a workaround.
31 Αυγ 2019 · The autoconvert is an option only in the iOS OneDrive app. The website won't automatically convert your pictures. Personally, I leave .heic on as I run Windows 10 on all my devices, which can read them. HEIC files are also smaller. If you save a copy of the picture in the Windows 10 Photos app, it will be saved as JPG though...
I am receiving heic formated pictures from a cell phone. I need to convert them to the jpg format. One time under "save as" it offered a drop down of 25-30 formats including jpg. It is not offered that option since. Is there a good way to make the conversion?
26 Αυγ 2022 · I have 100+ photos in HEIC format and want to convert them to JPEG. Now I can open one picture in photos, click the meatball menu > save as and save it as Jpeg However I need to do this to 100+ files. How can I automate this? thanks

Windows 10 doesn't seem to natively support HEIC yet. Your best option is to convert those photos in that format first, then you will be able to upload and view them on OneDrive. Two options you have are the following:

Please be informed that you cannot use Teams to convert your images from HEIC to JPG, however, you can convert HEIC photos to the JPG format by copying and pasting them to the iPhone’s built-in Files app.
Yes, I've set my IOS device to upload to one-drive as jpg. BUT, prior to finding out about that setting hundreds of pics from my IOS device uploaded to One Drive as HEIC. When I access these HEIC pictures via one drive app on my PC, they will only download to my windows 10 PC as HEIC format.
