28 Αυγ 2010 · Mordekaiser seems to be a character that pick-up groups tend to have trouble countering, if the Morde player knows what he is doing. Iron Man allows an armor-heavy Morde to absorb a lot of punishment from abilities, as the abilities tend to hit first.
The biggest single counter to Mordekaiser is Zilean. In lane, Zilean won't beat Mordekaiser, however, if the game goes to team fighting, he's a direct counter to Mordekaiser's ultimate. There are many champions however that can easily lane against him and simply provide more for a team in almost every situation.
How do you counter Mordekaiser? Which champion is the best to counter mordekaiser? Lately I've been finding mordekaiser probably the hardest solo top opponents and I'd really like some advice on countering him.
17 Μαρ 2012 · Mordekaiser received a rework since the previous answer was posted, which completely changed the way his ultimate works. Previously, it applied a damage over time effect that would create a clone pet of the target for Mordekaiser to command if the target died under its effects, and this could target and affect Shaco's clone.
23 Ιαν 2024 · On mid he is permaban (I just pick whatever tank to Yasuo or go duo). But on top there are smarter things to ban (like Mordekaiser). I know Aatrox can be good against Yone. On op.gg and similar sites I saw that Malphite can be a solid counter, but how Malphite can do something against a champ that has three ways to dodge his ultimate?
22 Ιουλ 2012 · Mordekaiser is typically built AP. Usually, APs build one of two boots: Ionian Boots of Lucidity or Sorceror's Shoes. Mordekaiser is also a melee champion, and the early movement speed helps him get to his enemy faster without being kited too much. Not to mention, his starting movement speed is only 315.

22 Ιουλ 2012 · Anivia, Mordekaiser and karthus do well for example. The trick is to destroy towers and push back and not let heimer onto your turret or have nice jungler who ganks heimer everytime he extends. Share
Note that you cannot remove Mordekaiser ult with cleanse, only QSS can. Cleanse is really most useful in removing hard CC's like Galio ult, Sona ult, Amumu ult and a wide variety of hard stuns that people use to lock down AD carries.
23 Ιουλ 2012 · From a technical standpoint a decent amount of abilities will stop Shen's overall ult, but from a realistic standpoint it is tough to counter. Normally Shen's ult is used form out of combat into combat meaning, noone can get him and noone can stop him except killing the ally he is porting to.
