1024 x 768/121 Hz. 1280 x 1024/91 Hz. 1600 x 1200/78 Hz. This is the answer to your question. It's the maximal "vertical refresh rate" which people simply call "refresh rate" that your monitor can do for each resolution. So yes, you can set your CRT to 1024x768 @120Hz.

3. Look for a reset/restore option in the menu. It is a standard option and it should be present in even fairly old monitors. If there is no option, try this sequence to manually correct the issue. Degauss the monitor. Use the offset controls (up/down, left/right) to center the image. Use the size controls to expand/contract it.

1 Οκτ 2020 · Here is the menu with pops up in the CRT monitor. Change it to 75 Hz to be easier on your eyes if you are using US electricity at least. I recall that always helping ease the strain on my eyes while looking at those old school monitors for long period of time. @PimpJuiceIT I don't know I how to change it.
20 Μαρ 2017 · Go to Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> Display then click Adjust Cleartype text from the options on the left. This will open a new window for Cleartype calibration. The first screen should have an option to turn off Cleartype. Uncheck that box and you should now have all of the font smoothing disabled.
So each monitor used more than 240W. Ohms law is V x A = W So 240V x 1A = 240W and the fuse blew, but a 3A fuse was ok (240V x 3A = 720W), so it's greater than 240W but less than 720W - that's quite a range, and also you have to bear in mind that this will peak with a surge when the monitor is turned on - I think 250W each monitor would be a good estimate.
25 Νοε 2021 · I used to have an LED monitor, but it used to have poor contrast levels, low refresh rate, poor color reproduction and when it finally got lines all over the screen (due to bonding issue in the LCD panel over age) I discarded it and switched to my old CRT monitor from Samsung. It is a Syncmaster 753s.
10 Μαΐ 2011 · 5. You need to set the Screen refresh rate to something higher than 60 for 15" monitors and higher. The larger the monitor the faster the better. It has to do with the time it takes to redraw the screen, and on 17" or better 60 times a second is just to slow and your eye will notice the changes in energy being refreshed.
