If you are aged 65 or older, you are eligible for reduced fare through the RTA Reduced Fare Program. All Medicare cardholders are eligible to apply for the RTA Reduced Fare Permit. If you have a disability, you may also qualify for this program.

18 Ιαν 2022 · The RTA’s Reduced Fare Permit allows seniors and people with qualifying disabilities to ride at a reduced rate on CTA, Metra, and Pace buses and trains.
All individuals 65 years old and older who are ineligible for the RTA Ride Free Program are eligible to receive a reduced fare permit. To Apply, Please Provide: A completed application. A copy of a government-issued picture identification card that verifies your age (driver’s license, state of Illinois ID card, alien registration card or passport).
