23 Δεκ 2020 · This color wasn't quite yellow, but wasn't quite green either. Dodge called it Citron Yella, a clear reference to the fragrant citronella oil derived from the lemongrass plant. Plymouth called it Curious Yellow — this appears to be a nod to the Curious George children's book series, as well as a quip about the atypical yellowish hue.

23 Μαρ 2019 · In bright lighting, GY3 appears to be a vibrant yellow, while in darker lights, it is more comparable to a lime green. The popular name associated with GY3 was Plymouth’s Curious Yellow, though the lesser appreciated Dodge name Citron Yella makes me grin.
17 Ιουλ 2023 · I am hoping that the factory GY3 color is bright yellow in the sunlight, then my choice is simple....go with the factory color. Does anyone have experience with Curious Yellow paint? either an original car or repaint like I am doing?

Called Curious Yellow on Plymouth cars, Citron Yella was only available in 1971. And it’s pretty rare because of its limited availability. Unlike Top Banana / Lemon Twist, which remained on the options list from 1970 to 1973.
