Our goal is to start a discussion on what could constitute a basis for a research agenda in data science, while recognizing that the field of data science is still evolving.
Introduction. In recent years, the field of data science has received increased attention and has employed great research e orts in develop-ing advanced analytics, improving data models and cultivating new algorithms. The latest achievements in the field are a good reflection of such undertaking [1].

In this paper, we present a com-prehensive view on “Data Science” including various types of advanced analytics methods that can be applied to enhance the intelligence and capabilities of an application through smart decision-making in diferent scenarios.
