30 Αυγ 2005 · The Time Windows manage to pump out some clean bass down to around 40 Hz, and in my modest living room, they sound spectacular, as good as the sound of the recordings or signals they are fed. I wish I could see a similar design utilizing modern drivers from SEAS or Scanspeak.
The DCM Time Window 3 Speakers have Astonishing Lifelike Sonic Performance. The focused soundstage and flexible listening room placement are up there with the very best. These speakers cost over $1500 in 1980 ($5,450 in today's dollars).
6 Απρ 2017 · DCM's Time Frame TF1000 is a tall, floor-standing loudspeaker that bears a superficial resemblance to a planar speaker. In fact, it is a relatively conventional box loudspeaker, using a shallow but wide six-sided cabinet with a depth that tapers from 7.5" deep at the base to 5" at the top.
DCM first made its name--or earned its initials, if you will--with an uncommon speaker it called the Time Window. This speaker, which resembled a large scratching post for a cat, reproduced uncannily smooth sound with superior stereo imaging.

In terms of models, the “1a” is the most common and is a great speaker. The “3” and “7” are even better but are far more rare. They’re all definitely full range speakers. I’ve pairs of 1’s and 3’s and the 3’s make you forget there is no subwoofer.
