28 Δεκ 2015 · The Stretch release is the first version of Debian to feature the modern branch of GnuPG in the gnupg package. This brings with it elliptic curve cryptography, better defaults, a more modular architecture, and improved smartcard support.

All packages are supported except games (all packages in section games) and those mentioned as unsupported in the debian-security-support package. Additionally, the chapter Limitations in security support from the stretch release notes also still apply.
