20 Φεβ 2009 · Use the "net start" and "net stop" commands in your cmd.exe to start and stop a service: net start "Service name with space". net stop SerivceNameWithoutSpace. Be aware that you will need quotes if the service name has spaces. answered Feb 20, 2009 at 21:39.
6 Μαρ 2013 · At least for services you can use the command line program sc. It allows you to modify services (not just start/stop as with net). For example, to disable and stop an Apache web server you could use this: sc config apache2.2 start=disabled. sc stop apache2.2.
18 Ιαν 2010 · If you wish to tweak the windows services to reduce memory usage theres quite a well known and respectable list here of what you can and cannot disable: Windows XP SP3 32-bit; Windows XP SP3 64-bit; Vista SP1; Windows 7 Beta; Although that said, be careful, and only disable services you're absolutely sure you don't want/need.

13 Απρ 2011 · You can do this via batch script without even needing to restart your computer. Look into the the sc.exe program included with windows. You can use it to start and stop services, as well as configure them to run automatic, manual, disabled, and a whole lot more. Here's the docs on how to use it:
Right click on a service and pick Properties to make changes to the startup type (first check the tab Dependencies !). Switching a service from automatic to manual makes the service available when needed but disables it on startup by default. To monitor the effect of a service, stop the running service by right clicking on it and select Stop.
