I recently got my hands on a DLE 30 (V2) with the intention of putting it on a 30cc mxs. however, ive been thinking about the new 35ra for the extra displacement and the included "pitts style" muffler. does anyone have one of these engines? is it worth the move from the 30 to the 35?

30 Νοε 2009 · Southeast RC Engines DLE-30. 1.20-1.50 class airframes have most commonly been powered by finiky, fuel-hungry, messy glow engines. Glow engines work very well, but for those of us who prefer gasoline engines there is a new option on the market; the DLE-30 from SouthEast RC Engines.
4 Δεκ 2019 · Curious to hear some reviews. It’s rated at 13hp @8500rpm. The DLE120 is rated 12hp@7500rpm. Wonder what the real differences are.
4 Οκτ 2009 · I bought a brand new dle 30 from a seller here on rc, and after spending the needed time doing all the needed conversions, Got the new dle 30 install on my new 120 size stick. I checked and rechecked what I thought was everything.
13 Ιουν 2013 · Any opinions over here about EME engines? DLE has a great rep and I was going that way but heard about the EMEs. The EME 35cc looks like a better performer than the DLE 30cc at a 2oz weight penalty. Is it as good a quality engine as DLEs? Thanks...
22 Απρ 2021 · DLE 65 - what’s your experience? I’m thinking about getting the DLE 65 but I’m cautious because I wasn’t that thrilled with the 61. I’ve had a few 55/55RA’s and I really like this engine the best. I’m going to freshen up the 61 with a Bowman piston ring to see if it helps compression and performance.
5 Δεκ 2017 · For me the call would be between the DLE, RCGF, and the ValleyView engines. Don't overlook the rear exhaust versions, which have the most compact footprint and come with a usable exhaust - you don't have to buy an optional Pitts muffler.
