The Urban Campus of Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), located in the heart of the City of Des Moines, is one of the most diverse and multicultural student bodies in the state. DMACC Urban Campus students come from near and far-Central Iowa and more than 75 countries around the globe.
DMACC offers over 220 programs, certificates, and transfer degrees, serving nearly 60,000 credit and noncredit students each year. Our talented graduates excel on the job - and if you transfer with a DMACC degree, you'll be able to achieve at the same level as those who start at a university.

Any students, faculty or staff visiting Urban Campus must have a DMACC Parking Permit to avoid ticketing. Permanent and/or temporary Parking Permits may be obtained at the Urban Campus Student Services Office (Building 7, Room 105). Davis Center for Working Families is located next to the campus on University Avenue. DMACC Capital Center is located on Des Moines Street just blocks from the Iowa State Capitol.
