Every PC was a tiefling, and the plot centered around them having the opportunity to rebuild Bael Turath and give the scattered tiefling people a home again. I've seen the edgiest, most cringe inducing backstories, and I've seen those stories coupled with backstories filled with happy, humble childhoods.
Look at how a weak dragon would see the world and boom, easy. No need for converting their age to human terms. Dwarves don't. If they're physically adults, they're just adults. They're only children compared to other elves. Take them outside of Evereska and they'd learn just as quick as any human, half-elf, or tiefling.
9 Ιουλ 2019 · The core mechanics don't care if your Tiefling looks like a proper Tiefling. When attention is brought to said discrepancy though, people will always fall back on twisting written text around. A popular tactic is to throw MToF around and push the variant bit, as though somewhere within all the demonic mutations is one that makes the Tiefling just a basic human but with uguu horns.
20 Ιαν 2015 · Gives you an excuse to leave some Tiefling Traits, like the red eyes, but still be mechanically human. I'd personally leave them with the eyes, scale growths in relatively easy-to-hide areas (the back, upper arms, feet), a slightly blue or red hue to the skin, fangs, and fingernails that naturally start to grow into points if left unattended for too long.
The current lore in Forgotten Realms is that Asmodeus has exerted ownership over most tiefling bloodlines, so it would be him. Your setting could be quite different. One homebrew setting I played in had Asmodeus own all tiefling souls no matter what afterlife they deserved, unless they pledged their soul through a warlock pact to some other being powerful enough to contest ownership with Asmodeus.
20 Μαρ 2018 · My wife plays a tiefling and chose the name Amity.(friendship) She liked it as tieflings are often excluded from society and she imagined that tieflings would be looking for friends or a community to be a part of.

1 Σεπ 2018 · So this is a situation of the DM's setting vs. the player's expectations. If your DM says that tieflings can't be nobles that is the current status quo. If you really have your heart set on being a tiefling noble, talk to the DM about 1) why you want that, and 2) is there a way to make that work in the setting.
18 Αυγ 2019 · So i'm gonna be running a game of dnd in a couple months and one of my players is playing a tiefling bard that's trying to become a successful musician but is obviously failing due to the racial prejudice against him being a tiefling and such.
18 Ιουν 2021 · Can a tiefling come from other entities? If your DM says so, then yes. Because as I understand while half brain dead trying to get through my shift at work, a tiefling is. would-be human with internally tainted blood somewhere along their family line, so it could well be some other manner of evil or possibly something else entirely.
