Form CA-2 Disability Benefits for Employees under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA)
Submit forms online through the Employees' Compensation Operations and Management Portal (ECOMP). On the ECOMP site you can register for an account, initiate a claim, upload documents, submit forms, and access your case. OWCP's Federal Employees Program has made a variety of forms available online. These forms are only available in PDF format.
Form CA-2. The front portion of Form CA-2 should be completed by the IW. However, if the IW is incapacitated, this form may be completed by authorized EA official (Agency Reviewer (AR) in ECOMP).
To file a CA‐2 to claim an occupational disease, review the information and click “Select & Continue” under the CA‐2 heading. Your name will be pre‐populated from your ECOMP account. Your email address from your account will also be displayed.
The CA-2 Notice of Occupational Disease form should be used if you have sustained an occupational disease injury on the job. An Occupational Disease is a condition produced in the work environment over a period longer than one work day or shift.
29 Σεπ 2022 · A big difference between a claim under the CA-1 form and the CA-2 form is the type of benefits you can receive under each form. The CA-1 form is an application for the Continuation of Pay. Under this form, you can continue receiving your full pay for up to a 45 calendar-day period where you can’t work after your injury.
