I searched for "internet explorer 10 offline installer" or something like that. I don't think MS really intends to make IE 10 available anymore, so they probably took down any landing pages. – jjlin
On the other hand, as you wrote, you can use a VBS or PowerShell script for opening Internet Explorer, instead of redirecting to Edge. VBS Script Create .vbs file with the script below. Run VBS file. Internet Explorer will be started (but will not go to foreground).

With Internet Explorer settings are all over the place. Some are under Options, some under Windows 8 Settings (like language and autocorrect) and others are apparently context-sensitive, like the Download settings. I should note that I don't rely on the download manager, so I didn't even know there were options –
10 Ιουλ 2014 · From here you can roll back to an earlier version of Internet Explorer. Each time you remove an IE update, IE will revert to the next-earliest version (so for you starting with IE 11, you will first go back to IE 10, then 9, ect).
In 32-bit Windows 7, Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) is still only a 32-bit browser. In 64-bit Windows 7, Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) has 32-bit and 64-bit together in one browser now. The IE10 browser frame process runs 64-bit, but for compatibility with plug-ins, IE10 runs 32-bit tabs by default.
4 Μαΐ 2022 · HTAs (HTML Applications) do NOT depend on Internet Explorer, but they use the same MSHTML rendering engine as IE. Removing IE does not break HTAs because removing IE does not remove MSHTML. On June 15th 2022, absolutely nothing changed in regards to what's installed on Windows 10 or 11. IE was NOT removed.
26 Σεπ 2012 · Is there a portable version of Internet Explorer 10? Perhaps a portable package that runs virtualized? Currently I am running Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 inside a VM, which eats up much more resources than I would like. I require Internet Explorer 10 for compatibility testing of web projects.
25 Μαΐ 2022 · No. Windows 11 does not have IE available like Windows 10 had IE11 (not IE 10). IE will soon be completely uninstalled and unavailable on all systems. Microsoft Chromium Edge has excellent Internet Explorer compatibility capabilities and I suggest you use Edge for your requirements. Any attempt to run IE 11 (not IE 10) will launch Edge instead.
7 Νοε 2015 · ...I turned on my PC and went back to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately when I went back to the Downloads window the download was not there. (With anger) I went to my downloads folder to check if I could find maybe a .partialdownload or .partial file.
