I highly recommend downtown Fredericksburg for a visit. Make it at least two days to see everything at a nice unhurried pace. Take in all it has to offer. A wonderful weekend getaway maybe from the city. Visit the shops on Saturday, do the tour on Sunday.. or any day during the week. There are many events in Fredericksburg.
