24 Μαρ 2011 · I'm trying to find the best end game (Act 3) weapon of each type. Here is what I've found so far: 2-Handed: Sundering - 38 Electricity Damage (62 DPS), +6% crit chance, +16% crit damage, +10% physical damage, +5 mana/stamina regen
Unless the mechanic for the Deathblow on the Limbtaker is far better than I or others have observed, The Celebrant is probably the best 2-H weapon. Limbtaker is still a good 2nd if for nothing...
Armour: I went with the Mantle of the Champion set because I liked the aesthetic, though I believe the Jasmine Cutty's Wrap + Gloves of the Champion + Arms of Mac Tir + Stealth Boots combination gives you more crit chance and damage. Weapons: I played on Nightmare, so I switched weapons according to elemental immunity.
They are all workable, but shield and sword is arguably the best, if you use your mages and rogues to slow enemies down and deal a ton of damage. A high dexterity sword and board warrior is very difficult for enemy warriors to damage, and they have passives that block ranged attacks. Dual-wielding does more damage.

In Act 3, it'd be The Celebrant, and Bloom, depending on the enemy type. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/The_Celebrant http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Bloom.
