Because of issues affecting the Suomi-NPP satellite, starting from 11 July 2024 the VIIRS-based fAPAR and fAPAR Anomaly indicators and the derived Combined Drought Indicator (CDI) are computed with data from the NOAA-20 (JPSS-1) satellite when those of Suomi-NPP are missing or not reliable.
