29 Ιουν 2021 · Hi, I took the Duolingo practice test for the first time and got 120 - 150 without any practice. I didn't even finish the writing part and made a lot of mistakes. I took it again twice but my scores got lower. I got 110 - 145 and 100 - 140. I felt like I did much better than the first one. I don't understand why they got lower.

25 Φεβ 2022 · Yeah I get your point. You can only take your test on computer not on mobile. I did research beforehand , the Duolingo English test software doesn’t allow any of that to prevent you from cheating. You won’t notice if you miss-spelled something because there’s no auto-correct or any word suggesting feature. Thanks for your comment!

9 Οκτ 2021 · keep taking the test you have three tries to submit one test per payment, i.e if you pay once and don't submit the test due to some issues or whatever, you can still take the test twice more for a total of three times until you have to pay again and I suppose by multiple times you mean you still are in the three tries and haven't submitted once.

16 Σεπ 2023 · Hello everyone! I recently took the DET (Duolingo English Test) last week and scored 150/160. I wanted to share my experience here, as it might benefit others in the future. Before registering for the test, I had read previous experiences shared on Reddit as well.
I plan to speedrun duolingo, to work on building faster basic recognition of semi-advanced grammar points. I think it will be an interesting project and something that will help keep Japanese fun. Duolingo has its flaws and I've used it a little, but it wouldn't be the most used language learning app if it was completely without value.
8 Ιουν 2017 · Even if Duolingo teaches all the vocabulary and grammar necessary to pass JLPT N5, I highly doubt most people who solely do Japanese DuoLingo would be able to pass. The reason is that the JLPT tests skills -- Listening and Reading, which DuoLingo doesn't really do.
