What are everyone's thoughts on the eBay Global Shipping Program, I'm based in the UK and thinking about it. Anyone using it to good effect? Getting untold issues with international orders, using mainly Royal Mail International Standard and Royal Mail International Signed as shipping options.

Once you enroll in the program and list an item for sale, eBay calculates and collects any import charges from buyers.
This is true, eBay charges GSP customers very high shipping. The alternative is that you yourself ship it at a high cost as well because of the necessity to ship it via Global Priority Express with tracking (which is $$$).

"There are no additional fees to use eBay International Shipping beyond the standard eBay selling fees. The eBay international fee does not apply to eBay International Shipping transactions." This sounds like you don't pay 1.65% international fee on new international program sold items.
