13 Ιαν 2016 · However, easily go to Settings and search Default Email, it should come up, first thing on the list is Email. Change it to Outlook or whatever you've installed and want to use. If you go back to Edge after that and click on an email link then it will ask you if you want to change the default Mail app to the one you choose, click yes and you're set.
Seems you have also tried the suggestions in this thread but it does not work. If so, I would suggest you check if the option "Make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar" is enabled within Outlook >File tab >Options >General. In the meantime, you could also check if the similar option is disabled in Mailbird.

17 Ιουλ 2020 · I already verified Outlook is my default mail client. I changed it and re-setup as default mail client. But every now and then this pop-ups when I open an email through web mail using Microsoft Edge Chromium , which was sent to me as an attachment.
17 Απρ 2022 · Hello, I use Microsoft 365 Business Standard and I'm currently unable to login to my email account on the Outlook desktop app (Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2203 Build 16.0.15028.20178) 64-bit) while I'm able to login on the Web App. Outlook simply says that "Something went wrong" and nothing else.

I know there is: - Outlook.com (is that a web-based / browser interface) Migrating shortly to a different version called "Preview". - Outlook Express (not sure that is still around) Does not work in anything newer than Vista.
