Genesis Chapter 22 tells the story of God’s final and greatest test of Abraham’s faith. God’s first nine tests were designed to build up Abraham’s faith. This last test was to reveal the true faith of Abraham that Jesus had perfected in him.
Genesis 22. 1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did prove Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham. And he said, Here am I. ASV — Genesis 22:1. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah.
