Honestly I feel that DeepL gives really weird translations from Russian to English sometimes, and doesn’t translate more obscure English words which is why I don’t use it personally. DeepL, Yandex, Context Reverso. All of them are better than Google.
For example, Spanish has a way more flexible word order than English. Russian also has a flexible word order (more than Spanish even). Also, Russian has some vocabulary related to Spanish, that sometimes is different in English: biblioteca, yo, y, dar, etc. The gender thing is more complicated in Russian, but it has similarities with Spanish ...
13 Μαΐ 2019 · You need to find the registry location for whatever game it is (usually under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE.... just search for the game if you cant find it.. Edit > Find Next.. until you find the key with language), then open the language key. The language value will probably be 'RU' for russian or 'ENG' for english. You wont get english with both.

It’s not too bad as far as textbooks go, but it’s at least 20 years old. As a native English speaker, I found the book English Grammar for Students of Russian to be very helpful. Each chapter goes over a specific grammar point and then relates it to Russian. It’s not a textbook, though; just a supplementary guide. 1.

Most pre-made Russian Anki decks I could find were either without example sentences or with horrible audio so I created this deck based on the book "A Frequency Dictionary of Russian: core vocabulary for learners" by Serge Sharoff, Elena Umanskaya, James Wilson Styling. There are both Russian -> English and English -> Russian cards.

10 Ιαν 2023 · Plenty of others, like Wednesday or The Good Place, have Russian subs. Though do keep in mind that the subs and dubs differ wildly, they're probably translated by different people. Check out To The Lake on Netflix. In my Netflix (Belgium) many movies have Russian dubbed version, specially kids movies like Kung Fu Panda.
