19 Ιουν 2024 · This is my current Download speeds on Epic games, I'm just downloading ARK as an example, on my Steam I get 60Mbps on average and as for other launchers, EA, Ubisoft etc but its ONLY Epic Games that downloads this slow, any ideas how to get it to download faster?
for me the launcher said 25MB/s at 0 throttle, while actually downloading at 1MB/s with stoppages in between (as you do, fuck epic), and when i set the throttle to 100000, the download speed became consistent (8MB/s) for like 5 minutes and then went to 0, didnt get back up until 90 mins later. i was doing something else during the update so i ...
5 Δεκ 2023 · I have been dealing with an issue where epic games downloads extremely slowly. Sporatic speeds of maybe 100kb/s for maybe a second. Launch the EpicGamesLauncher.exe as admin and all your problems are solved.

So i closed the Epic Games Store in the Windows System Tray (the arrow next to the windows clock) and opened it again in administrator mode. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem.

18 Δεκ 2021 · PC - game SotTR - Epic Games I had a similar issue. My games are stored on a separate SSD. I clean installed my OS(win10) then attempted the "verify" process on my game however I was a little off that day with brain fog & deleted the entire SotTR folder.
