The euro coin series comprises eight different denominations: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cent, €1 and €2. The euro coins have a common side and a national side. The national side indicates the issuing country. The common sides of the coins were designed by Mr Luc Luycx of the Royal Belgian Mint.
There are eight euro coin denominations, ranging from one cent to two euros [1] (the euro is divided into a hundred cents). The coins first came into use in 2002.

All the coins feature the 12 stars of the European flag. The €1 coin features Casa de la Vall, the former seat of parliament and a building of cultural and historical interest. Austria chose to produce a series of coins illustrating flowers, architecture and famous people from its history.
Postoji osam apoena kovanica eura, u rasponu od jednog centa do dva eura [1] (euro je podijeljen na stotinu centi). Kovanice su prvi put u uporabu ušle 1999. godine. One euro is made up of 100 cents. Coins are minted in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, and 1 and 2 euros. Milled edges make it easier for the visually impaired to recognise different coin values. The three lowest value (and smallest) coins are made of copper-covered steel.
