19 Οκτ 2011 · I currently see explorer.exe in both C:\Windows and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 I would like to know what is the default path for explorer.exe in the 64 bit version of Windows 7. If I run Process Explorer, and check the details for the instance of explore.exe, the Image details tab, shows that this process is running from the C:\Windows path.
6 Νοε 2022 · I also experienced Lags with the Explorer: On Windows 10, i could solve them by removing external file-drives (SMB) from Quick-Access. I created a folder with Links to the drives instead and explorer was fast again. Probably the explorer tried to connect to these drives and for some reason failed, even though the connection was up and working.

13 Απρ 2019 · When I open the File Explorer, I can see my folders and files. However a few minutes later File Explorer freezes. So I have to close the File Explorer then start it again
