As I wrote in the Bait section of the guide, Bait familiars and players are those built like a Tank, but with lowest Stamina than the rest of the party.
Summoning Familiars. To begin summoning familiars, you will need to obtain a Bound Script of the entity you wish to befriend. These can be obtained by performing the Ritual of Binding near a relevant entity. See the full list of eligible entities in the Familiars section.
familiars are your tamed pets. To make and bind a familiar receptacle, you first gotta make an impregnated diamond and bone needle. you then right-click the pet of your choice with the bone needle imbuing it with the animal. Then you craft the needle with the diamond to get an impregnated diamond imbued with the animal.
Familiar attempts to offer a not-too-heavy but not lightweight survival experience. It's configured to minimise content overlap between mods, keep the world free of too much clutter from mobs and world features, and allow players to explore mods at their leisure without being overwhelmed, while still offering plenty of content to delve into.
