6 Αυγ 2015 · I have been looking at forums of this specific problem and none of the solutions fixed it. Until I found the the fan was even running at full speed in bios menu. So I opened my laptop and disconnected and reconnected the cmos battery. I think in someway windows 10 caused the bios problem. the fan is running normal now. I hope this helps
15 Ιουν 2023 · Each can take a 4 pin fan. These can be controlled in the M.I.T. section of your BIOS. The First System Fan Speed and the Second... settings will allow the fan(s) to speed up or slow down depending on the temperature, when set to "Normal". The can be adjusted with "Easy Tune" which I assume is a Gigabyte Utility that runs within Windows.
22 Ιαν 2023 · I searched the web for some answers, but everything I tried hasn't made an impact. I've gone into my BIOs and reset to defaults, but that didn't work. So I went into my UITEL BIOs but I saw nothing I could do there. I searched stuff about fan control and it said something about installing an app to view and chance my fan speed/CPU.
6 Αυγ 2015 · The speed of the CPU fan is controlled not by Windows but by the controller on the motherboard and is based on the temperature of the CPU. So it would be obvious to this old tech, that your Windows 10 is running the CPU more than your previous OS. If you've been Overclocking your CPU, STOP IT!

18 Σεπ 2015 · I may try to replace the fan but not yet. I used to use a widget I believe was called VistaStat on Windows 7. What I'm looking for is something that's fairly lightweight and can be configured to be unobtrusive, such as a number in the notifications tray or a widget that does not clash with the Windows 10 theme and interface. thanks.
1 Δεκ 2023 · I think my PC's performance issues come from the smart fan feature not working properly. So, I found this software, but I don't know how to make fan curve stuff. Here's a github link with the software and there is a video on that Github page that shows how to use it.
It is remarkable that this is only occuring with windows 10, I had before Windows 7 and Linux installed and neither of those displayed this behavior. unfortunately, there is no way to control the fan speed in BIOS, so I need a specific solution for the OS, otherwise windows 10 will be kicked off this PC. Thanks in advance for any good advice,
