It has hp coolsense that controls the fan speed automatically depending on the interior temperature but there is no software to control the fan speed when I want it max I can't have that.

Hi, I have the problem that my Z8 G4 Workstation speeds up the 3 fans if i start 3dmark and dont throttle it down if i quit the program. 15 Δεκ 2020 · I'm aware of the importance of functioning fans in laptops -- but unfortunately, the HP diagnostics don't check the fans and I am not aware of any other diagnostics you can run to check them. The usual way of checking fans in laptops is through audio inspection (listening for them) and visual inspection (removing the case and looking at them).

1 Σεπ 2017 · My problem is the same as many others I have seen listed. PC was working fine all these years, suddenly went to turn it on and loud fan noise, blank screen, pc won't boot. Have tried all fixes listed. Power cord is fine, f10 will not start BIOS. Took off back, cleaned fans, redid thermal paste on CPU/heat sink.

20 Δεκ 2017 · The pc fans are running at full speed most of the time keep turning on and off repeatedly, even when I'm not doing anything. The pc isn't hot at all and I don't know what to do. I've already updated the bios and all of the drivers and it's just annoying. I also turned off the "Fan always on" at startup. HP Omen Control was also useless.
